The food is delicious and the size is just right. The staff is friendly. I was not in many bars, but I liked this one the most. We ordered the dish "from the belly" or something like that. It included fried potatoes, sausages, mushrooms and onions. But it just floated everything in fat. This is the only drawback. Just awesome. For two, even a lot. The institution itself is well done, excellent terrace, large restaurant, super interior. Head is also at 4 which is not bad for a pub. Beer is that their production, as for me it’s 3-4. Service is a separate issue, even if there are 3 people in an institution, then they come up to you once every half an hour and it’s the same as you finished a beer about 20 minutes ago. At the same time, the bartender and the waitress smoke regularly every 15 minutes!

Barrel is Closed! Its sister Pub, Botchka Kreschatik offers much of the same hospitality. This was often my preferred between the 2, however the economy took its tole on a great place. (See my review of Botchka)
